New shifter mechanism went in like a charm and solved the problem. This YouTube video was a big help. Total repair time was 1 1/2 hours. (One hour to get the broken part out and a half hour to put the new one in.) 90,95,66,0,B

I became a decent but still aspiring welder this year with a lot of help from YouTube. My metal fab guy dropped the ball, I had a welder, so I broke it out and did it myself. Lower grade architectural stuff for a couple of bars.
I started with Jimmy Diresta, who is good at just about anything.
Chris FIx is the largest car channel on YouTube, with a whopping 8.84 million subscribers as of April 2022. He's really good IMO.
