re-joists...

Clocked in at 8:30AM.  5 hours later, I had the rest of the "ears" up and the middle 4 purlins secured.  Still just as hot by the time I finished but was pretty comfortable working away in the rising heat today.  Checked on some Pecos melon seeds (I got from the Mt. McKennites) that I plopped in some potting soil 4 days ago - they punched up through the dirt pretty quick.  Transplanted them into the canyon upstream from the black lagoon to see how they'll do in the wild.  98,107,73,0,B

Your melon starts will fall victim to Mr. Floppy and his buds if you don't fence them in. Green stuff in the desert is just too rare for them.

PEOPLE.com) -- Crystal Harris is moving on from Hugh Hefner, but not without taking a few parting shots at her former fiancé.
Harris, 24, said Tuesday on Sirius XM Radio's Howard Stern Show that sex with the 85-year-old Playboy founder lasted "like two seconds."
"Then I was just over it," she says. "I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it. I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry."
She adds that they had sex just once.
"He doesn't really take off his clothes," Harris says. "I've never seen Hef naked

Progress on your construction looks great, very sturdy and built to last a lifetime...the end result will be amazing to see.

I don't see them lasting in the wild because of the animals either.

I'm afraid the animals will eat them too. Did you get any rain today?

Nice clean look to the construction. It's going to be so nice.

Never heard of a Pecos Melon. I guess I'll have to wait for your picture of them when they ripen.
