JW...you oughta get one of those game cameras and set it up to capture the wildlife getting their nocturnal water sips. Might see a big cat, or two.

I live in a desert climate too, not SW Texas, but arid most of the year. I haven't seen a drop of rain in months and seeing all that water flowing in, mud and all, just made me...happy.
