John-
My wife is a fan of your shoes, she has about 6 pair.
I get the feeling you're holding back...tell us what you really think...
welcome to the fan club Slacker....incorrect description (joke website? steel domicile not livable?) but at least you're paying attention. you can go crawl back under your hill country rock now.
i HATE it when people hold a gun to my head and make me read a blog i don't approve of... sheesh. he's not working in a cubicle. he's enjoying the life he's built for himself and the rest of us enjoy watching his progress. if he's able to try out "free" stuff from people who support his vision --that's no different than when settlers helped each other raise barns and slaughter animals for the season. self sustainable as a goal refers more to trying to procure his own energy resources and food supply than it means "live and work alone with no help or die trying." even thoreau walked to town for neighborly visits during the Walden experiment. take a deep breath, HCS.
I enjoy John's blog. If you don't, just don't read it!
Read and STUDY Thoreau first Tampa Fla Mrs. Vargas mom first ,before being so stupid, JW does nothing similar to him -to my understandingeing-, he is just a basic practical man, just living his life there in the Texas Desert,(no phylosophy at all) having rid off NY expensive life and no mortgage $$$, etc. just survive/enjoy basic life nature plus animals arround.
Hey! John is that "Swamp Girl" between you and Ben...
Film crew! Can't wait to see what they came up with. From the picture, the little guy seems to be o.k. Hope he's doing well.
This goes back to a previous blog, Ben Fogle is on the Today show in London promoting the Olympics. Cool that he was in West Texas just a few days ago. You have impressive friends, Mr. Wells.
