the last halloween?

So now we are told to be mindful of how we dress for halloween. Costumes must not be racist, violent, sexist, albeistic, objectifying, or promote rape culture - pay no mind to the media and popular culture (and dressing up as a women is OK for Bruce Jenner).  The idea of costumes should be banned altogether...you should just be yourself and that should be good enough!  To add insult to injury, the Department of Energy now warns that pumpkins cause global warming.  Take heart America; the holiday will endure as long as it promotes the idea that people have to give you free stuff just for showing up at their door.  FYI...this year Americans will embrace income inequality by giving away over $2 billion in candy.  66,72,59, .09",B

Giving away or eating the candy them self

No people come to my house because I have a locked gate. The children have private parties here with no trick-or-treating.

Our big mall has someone at each store set up at their entrance and hand out candy. Our Grandkids now go there to trick or treat. Inside, SAFE and fun. Lots of things to do there with lots of vendors setting up shop like a carnival. They go to their immediate neighbors to get the fun of door to door then off to the mall. Even as a young kid, I remember the great fun of Halloween. Not a care in the world. Parents didn't have to go with kids for protection back then. We didn't have even one trick or treater this year. Must have all been at the mall. Halloween has always been one of my favorite Holidays. Adults can act like kids and dress up and NO ONE thinks you weird LOL.

John, you enjoy having a cow that receives a free handout of food and board for doing nothing. I enjoy watching little kids showing off their costumes, enjoying free candy and having fun. I don't deny or belittle you your pleasure, don't deny and belittle those of us who love kid our pleasure.
