Doing the same here with pineapple. We'll compare later on.
Mine (pineapple) took 2 years to produce a pineapple..have 3 growing now,fyi,,another fruit that's easy to grow from a seed is papaya,,just keep one of each male and female trees and you will have fruit regurly
