Terlingua Skywalker

My new friend Brandon Gardiner came out from Houston for a short vacation on his property.  Check out his blog.  He trained with Andy McAvin a few months ago.  I was hoping to fly with him but I'm still too apprehensive to jump into the air until I get more training next month.  I was really tempted to try today after he showed me how easy it really is.  At least my airfield is getting some good use this week!  89,97,71,0,B

Text book launch and landing, nice! Also it looks like you have nothing but wide open launch and landing spots out there.

I was out fishing on the St. Lucie river this morning. Couple of guys were flying trike versions, one of them flying very close to the bridge at rush hour...don't know what he was thinking about except flirting with disaster...started me thinking of fan man. Remember him ?

The Fan Man 1992...James Miller was beaten unconscious by the crowd, spent 4 days in jail, and was fined $4000. A year later he made headlines again by landing on the roof of Buckingham Palace - naked. Don't try this at home.

Hmmm...wasn't aware of Fan Man's later adventures. You could probably gets away
with the naked thing where you're at. If it was me, I'd double check the airfield for cactus. It would give new meaning to "naked as a jaybird". Dennis Hopper tried it once on an aircraft wing but it wasn't in the air so it really doesn't count
