solder savvy...

Soldered up the extra back up timer for Pepino today to show off my soldering skills (just for remmij).  Had a slight problem with the kit components - the relay they sent didn't fit on the board.  Waiting for the reply to my request for a replacement.
Had a visit today from my new friends Val and John from Lubbock.  They recently saw the Microtopia documentary that featured the Field Lab and figured out where I was.  Ben loves visitors because it means he gets some extra attention and a snack.  90,99,74,0,B

am no board wizard, but had a thought looking at the previous one you showed…
would this help the relay fit?

The pump wire leads only go in one side of the blue connector so rotating it won't help. The relay provided was significantly larger that the one in the other kit - obviously a mistake.

from a woman's point of view, noticed that ben's last 2 female visitors are wearing sun dresses versus blue jeans. just an observation...you probably noticed that too.

Rita - Dresses, especially sundresses are back. My young daughter-in-law has a closet full of them.

Rita, Janet is correct, dresses are back. This is me in the photo, and its actually a tunic top with shorts underneath. I have a closet full of tunic tops!

Nice. That's one way to wear a dress without a hot slip and to effectively layer for the heat. Some girls don't bother to wear a slip and then it's like a peak show when they stand in the sun.
