good news - bad news

Saw my surgeon this morning.  Good news is no broken screws which means the bone is taking my weight.  Bad news is I am supposed to give up using my beloved crutches over the next two weeks.  83,88,61,0,C

What about therapy for the leg to make it easier for you?

You have probably become very attached to those crutches LOL Glad you are almost mended.

Don't let the fear of putting all your weight on that leg get to you. I imagine it could be a little scary because of the ordeal you've been through.

Crutch withdrawal. Taken down many a good man. Just go cold turkey John.

Just move slowly and put your weight gradually on the leg. No jogging yet!

Great news about the leg healing process! The problem I have with a walking cane - is walking off and leaving it behind! Tells me I don't really need the darn thing!

Nice site, It strikes a nice balance of the concept. I had a natural tendency towards 'mindfulness' from a young age. I am glad that I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation. Thanks for sharing.
