That nesting dove does not have markings like a Mourning Dove. Could it perhaps be a White Winged Dove? They like to live close to abundant sources of water - which the Field Lab certainly has!
What became of the horn billed thrasher?
Were you able to take the thorns off of Havier?
Presently in South Dakota camping out. Several white doves camping out in neighboring trees to our campsite. Synchronicity is an interesting phenomenon.
