What are they doing for water?
Apparently they don't need much water so I don't really think that is an issue. Note - they thrive in the desert.
The javelinas will like them too.
Ok I get it, growing cactus. Still it is usually dormant until substantial rains water it. olyproduce.com
I am not a big fan of cacti even with tomatoes, but I guess it is good for one. I had alot of Aloe Vera in the refrigerator and discarded it. But that is a good idea for a business there.
We were intrigued at how they planted. Rows of three?
On a related note the little toothy desert creatures have done substantial damage to our prickly pears.
given the amount on the ground ( in the pic - thinning, QC?) maybe a sharing arrangement will be arrived at – or better fences… wonder what the goats would think… U.S. HQ in El Paso?
