Well, he's hanging in there. Donkeys/burros whatever just beat the crap out of each other. And go back for more. Once had a cattle guard that did not deter a donkey. Had a horse mare he found attractive from time to time. He was already scarred up, but kept on jumping over to have her give him even more scars from her back hooves. I never can remember about mules, a superior group, if it's a male donkey and female horse, or a male horse and female donkey. I suspect the former. Guess I'll have to look it up for one more time.
I looked it up. Now I know. For the umpteenth time.
