R.I.P. the ignorant.
Hi,
I really like what you're doing but I think you'll find that you'll end up being wrong about high risk associated with non vaccination. There is practically no benefit proposition especially for the <65yos (looking at the health statistics, declining vaccine protection, rapid clinical development of the vaccine) and that is where the reluctance comes from. Thinking that hesitance comes from stupidity or ignorance, that really misses cause for a large part of that demographic. But I guess it's the easy & popular position to take.
Just saw a study from Carnegie and Pittsburgh University that states people with PhD's are the most hesitant to get the vaccine. Pretty interesting study.
Please read below link what the CDC says about over 65 years old.

Herd immunity also can be reached when enough people have been vaccinated against a disease and have developed protective antibodies against future infection. Unlike the natural infection method, vaccines create immunity without causing illness or resulting complications. Using the concept of herd immunity, vaccines have successfully controlled contagious diseases such as smallpox, polio, diphtheria, rubella and many others.
Headline- Study: Deadly Lambda Variant Could Be Vaccine-Resistant
Very informative. Thank you for posting.
Googling that headline shows sources like New York Post and Fox News. Not buying any extra toilet paper yet except for wiping after reading that kind of alternative fact journalism. Let's see what peer-reviewed, evidence-based, consensus science shows.
More info on Lambda.
Researchers at the University of Tokyo published their paper at bioRxiv, a "preprint server for biology," last Wednesday ahead of the paper's peer review. (Newsweek) The paper about Lambda:

In other news ... Texas has requested 5 mortuary trucks (18-wheelers) to handle the overflow of dead bodies due to the Covid surge.
Yeah, take off that mask, don't get vaccinated and send those kids back to school, right Abbott?
Never thought I'd see the day that "political leadership" would involve accepting mass casualties in order to excite their base.
Political leadership from both sides have done that for decades.
