sounded like small fixed-wing air traffic in addition to your noisy breakfast feathered traffic.
they must be hard pressed to find roost-trees out there...
no cylindrical/octagonal "objects" yet? or F-22 pilots stopping by for breakfast too?

Also, those might be common grackles, not great-tailed. I believe great-tailed females have yellow eyes like males, whereas common females have duller eyes.
