Hmmmm....let me guess....windows for giraffes, windows for John and windows for Carl.
i don't think carl can get thru there...eh?
Watching this lab progress is amazing. I imagine a lot of it is learned through just reading how to do it,following the directions, and a little bit of trial and error.
People that say tings like, "I can't cook", always upset me. They might as well say, "I can't read".
... Mordorparts? hope those doors can keep the Orcs out... come to think of it, you do sort of have the Gandalfian thing going on... Carl doesn't have hair on his feet and a little gold band on his leg does he?

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.
a monument to a dream. well done Mr. Wells. Even the final touches are beautiful and show a fine level of craftsmanship.
Ya now while I've been dozing here contemplating windows, I had a thought. Now that I've taken the appropriate medicine for the pain, I'm back. A couple shots of 90 proof usually erases the thought and somewhat dulls the pain.
Anyhow, what if you find somebody with one of them little powered hang glider parachut things and asked him/her to search the area around your place for any sign of Benita ? One of them could eyeball a great big area in a day, lots better than walking and they can go slow enough to really search all the draws and canyons. Just a thought, please don't make me have another, I'm almost outa 90 proof.
The structure, and all the architectural details, are turning out to be much more visually appealing than I would have thought. Way to go, John! I love to see the interesting, beautiful stuff you come up with.
