Whoever hit it probably will want to sue the government or whoever for letting them run wild.
this is so very sad. Hope everyone will be more mindful/observant of the creatures in the Bend area.
You sure that's a donkey? Donkeys don't have cloven hooves, do they? Looks to me like somebody killed a buck and took the head. Can't quite tell from the pic. Either way, sad.
I bet the driver who hit this animal has a messed up vehicle for sure. Probably going a 100 MPH.
I agree with Steve, looks like some "hunter" shot a buck and took the head. Brave man!
I don't think that's a burro. Looks like a poached buck to me.
