field battery

Hunted down and retrieved an old car battery I once came across on a 20 acre tract I added to the FL empire a couple of years ago.  That's another ten bucks of core charge when I buy new batteries.  It has been there at least 6 years and it still had some juice in it!  79,90,54,0,B,.15

We had about 20 batteries that had been removed from cars, trucks, boats motorhomes over a few years and a kid doing some work for us saw them out back of the garage. He asked it he could have them and we said gladly. We were storing them back there until we could figure out how to dump them. I had no idea they had that much value. I always pay the core charge when I buy one but never gave any thought to return them I will from now on.
