Ha Ha any landing you can walk away from is a good one. That's gotta be a rush and a half.

Coming in low and fast! Hell yeah, all my senses were kinda lit up there, felt like I was along for the ride!

Do they have enough range that you can run errands into town with them?

Most awesome, John!
Flight gives you an amazing view of the surroundings- it looked like you were level with the top of Panther Mountain.

Can't wait to hear your impressions.

Great job Pilot John!

All that hard work, preparation, study, etc., has given you something you will have to treasure the rest of your life. And now I know why you so carefully prepared your landing area.

And we all thank you for sharing your great adventure with us earthbound mortals!

Wow! Awesome...did I hear your instructor call you "Maverick"?

Great production values in this little flick too. It's stomach-churning when the sound of the motor drops down...like you are going to plummet to earth. Yikes!

David said...

Awesome. Great job, John!

yep, maverick is good! Would love to see the landing!

Looked as if in your face-first touchdown the apparatus was on top of you. Is that true? How much does it weigh?

Can you solo without ground support? Video good, but tell us more.

Ben's reaction?
