I have been flying one way or another since the mid-70's. Be careful, be aware and enjoy the most wonderful experience you will have with your clothes on. Fly high my friend. Hope to see you soon.

… some stitched nylon, cables and a motor strapped to your ass… what could go wrong?
at least you don't have wax on your wings — fly well, Wells - look forward to the first aerial post/video. Gravity, thrust, lift, velocity, etc. you are living the dream. This seemed appropriate.
High Flight
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
- Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."

safe travels John. Or, as Carpenter told John Glenn, Godspeed John Wells.

I show your pics to my Mom, (86) she gets the biggest kicks about Ben & Bud. Today I showed this pic to her, then uTube of the unfluing shoot. Made her day!

I'm fairly certain that, given the orientation, fresh breeze is what we will be receiving, down wind.

Up, up, and away John Wells.
