what if...?

What if how you were raised, your education, media and popular culture, your friends, your chosen lifestyle, your wants and desires, all your preconceived notions...were all part of Satan's grand plan to steer you away from Christ?  No one likes to be lied to and no one enjoys being deceived...but most importantly - no one likes rules that conflict with one's chosen beliefs.  If you won't even consider the possibility, then perhaps consider that Satan has won.

Romans 16:20  The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.  May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Well, I live in the U.S. This is my culture. I can or cannot cover my head or face or wear loose, long clothing. But I did tell a Muslim off the other day for the first time. I get sick of the years they have sneered down their nose at us. I don't need to be called an infidel or have my face looked at like I am naked, and so forth and led to believe something is wrong because I don't do it their way. If they don't like our way and we are so inferior to them, then they should go back to their 3rd world nation. Yes, I sometimes need to work on patience.

And in San Antonio I drove by the site where the Muslims know full well (on their web site) that they are backed by a wealthy Arab and building a religious center in the wealthiest Christian area. And no one is allowed to even VISIT. What is that all about.

Maybe no one has noticed.

John, your religious comments just seem to attract haters, bigots and just plain me versus them thinkers. Very little objective thought, love or empathy.

God bless John for his good comments and the high quality of people he attracts.

By the same rationale...What if how you were raised, your education, media and popular culture, your friends, your chosen lifestyle, your wants and desires, all your preconceived notions...were all a delusional mindset that steers you away from critical, rational thought? No one likes to be lied to and no one enjoys being deceived...but most importantly - no one likes rules that conflict with one's chosen beliefs. If you won't even consider the possibility, then perhaps consider that you have been brainwashed.

Jesus said that He is the way, truth and the life no one comes to the Father apart from Him. The way is narrow and few will enter. Jesus came to divide and not unify.satan on the other hand is the father of lies and ruler of this world for now, but the rightful ruler is coming...

+shawn ruth, you have 1 follower on Google +; I think that explains it all.

The way is narrow....oh so nice to believe that only you, and the one's you wish, will make that narrow way to heaven. What have you done so far above the many to deserve this? Few will enter, what a wish for humanity. "Father of lies", why not a woman or mother of lies, or a jew, or a black? "Rightful ruler"....history has seen that before, to no end.

He did not come to unity...nice one! As I said, john's religious posts only attract fanatics, zeolots, haters, people with absolutely no tolerance for others w/ different beliefs based on where they were born, who there parents were, what they were taught or what they were given to survive with..............only the chosen few, eh?
