Facebook sent me a reminder this morning.  Hard to believe on this day 7 years ago I had just finished putting 72 sheets of tin on the greenhouse roof.  At the time, I was a bit over zealous on my rain catchment calculation.  The roof gives me 1,500 gallons per inch of rain.  BTW - thanks for all the words of encouragement on getting to work on cleaning out the greenhouse.  I am almost convinced.  84,88,70,0,B

The first step is always the hardest. But then again, maybe sloth has its evil grip on you. At first glance, it does.

Steve...not sure about an "evil grip...but since my accident and long recovery, sloth and I have become good friends.

re: " ... sloth and I have become good friends." you're in good company... common affliction...

Maybe not sloth -- maybe just slow.

was that Carl you were facing off with?

John Wells said...

Yup...Carl and I doing a mind meld. Unlike most people on Facebook who seem to constantly change their profile picture - I have had the same one for over 5 years. Here is another shot from that portrait series. https://thefieldlab.blogspot.com/2012/08/melding.html

I set up Facebook at Apple Store. They wanted me to. It seemed like the in thing to do. But I never go there and do not want to. I constantly get notices. That is not very good of me, is it. Sloth.

But you never know. I might want to use Facebook someday.

Ben did not go outside right away because he was waiting for the bunny to come and say hello. :-)

Anyway, Ben had to survey his surroundings before he ventured forth. The Native Americans taught me that. Like I learned in the first grade when I was five in Canada, when crossing the road - stop, look, and listen.

like the mindmeld with Carl… might be a way to go nose-to-nose with the sloth issue?

Now that's the one thing I cannot quite get my head around...people changing their profile pics all the time....nothing wrong with sloth. BTW What happened to your sky paramotor?

John Wells said...

The paramotor is not high on my list of priorities. Not so sure I want to risk another boo boo that takes 2 years to recover from.
