So happy to see horny toads at your place. They, alone, would be the reason I moved there. They are so scarce now. When I was a "young'un" I played with them at my Granny Bea's house and they have always been extra special to me. You made my day with one photo. Even though I like Carl and Blanche too.
that looks different than the horny toads I saw in west TX. Is it a tail even?? Must be another brand.
what a handsome guy mr. toad is. and he blends into the terrain so nicely. can't wait to see if Beatrice and Blanche are still using their hypnotic stare on you today.
Gorgeous reptile. You ever see collared lizards out there? I kept a pair for many years and miss 'em.

Looks Good. I move my stuff around saying I am organizing then can't find anything.:)
FYI: that's a round-tailed horned lizard (Phrynosoma modestum). Excellent rock and pebble mimics!
Horny Toads are the coolst. I sure wish we had more of them to admire.
Makes me feel good to see horney toads again.. it's been so long. They are a good memory from my childhood!
The truck port is great. It's good to keep your vehicle out of the blazing sun.
We used to play with horned lizards up here in Dallas back in the sixties. I haven't seen one since back then. It's good to know that there are some still around.
