If your squash goes like mine did last year, you'll be up to your ears in it in no time.
You might think about dehydrating some of it. It rehydrates wonderfully and given your local, it'd be an easy thing to do.
The tubs had molasses cow feed in them. That is why they are so hard to pull apart.
You needed a drain hole anyway
Squash blossoms are delicious and have a really neat, crunchy texture. Eat them in a salad or grill them for a few seconds (literally, maybe 5 seconds).

My brother-in-law in the plastics industry says PVC fails explosively. So be careful!
