far sighted

I reckon optics is the subject this week.  Finally dropped my old pair of binoculars one too many times last week.  Just got some new ones today.  There is lots of far away stuff to look at out here when there are so many far away views.  84,94,69,0,B

Noticed the pic of a paraglider on the box.

They should be a good pair of binocular since Celestron also makes telescopes.

The fact that you can see for miles and miles is what made me fall in love with Texas.

Hopefully binoculars have tripod adapter. Mounting them on a tripod really helps when looking at stars and such.

the skies out west are huge and spectacular...and binoculars add much though if I were looking at stars - I'd probably have a proper telescope because of the "shake" you'll get with hand-held equipment.

As a group - we've laid on the banks of beautiful rivers in our sleeping bags - lookup up - and watching shooting stars and satellites for as long as it took to get sleepy and drift off.

never tired of it....

Now those pesky rabbits won't be able to sneak up on you.

always wondered if John had big cats about ..almost surely coyotes... wolves? antelope?

we were head south one night from Glacier Park to Stanley, Idaho. It was dark but on the road and all around the road were hundreds of Antelope... we ended up parking the truck and calling it a night before hitting one... next morning, first light, they're all gone.
