Eight 12 volt / 100 watt panels connected to the combiner box. Four strings of 2 panels each - wired in series. Each input string is fused for 12 amps. Output goes through a 63 amp circuit breaker.

How well does the wire insulation survive in the sunlight?
It should be just fine. This solar wire has UV protection.
