new mattress day...

 The last mattress I bought was just a little too squishy so I ordered an extra firm one with a box spring during a labor day sale in Alpine.  

Just picked it up today.

Been having lower back pain issues for the past month so I thought I might try a new mattress.  Unfortunately, I couldn't 3D print one...  51,60,48,0,B

mattress day...

Well...I fully expected to be hunkered down inside all day with the predicted rainstorm - but that didn't happen (yet).  Had nothing planned so I came up with a long overdue chore to attend to.  Dragged my beast of a mattress outside to clean (hydrogen peroxide, water, baking soda, dish soap) and air out for the day.  It is quite a chore to move it as it is rather bulky and takes up a quarter of my living space inside the hut.  It also gave me the opportunity to repair some wiring that was hidden beneath it - my kitchen light hasn't worked for over a year.  88,100,76,0,B

too plush

Well...it has been just over a year since I replaced my first mattress.  The new "plush" one I got is turning out to be just a little too squishy for my old back.  Set up a temporary platform for my trusty old "firm" mattress I brought out here from NY.  It is a full size instead of a twin.  If it turns out to be as comfy as I remember it to be, it will be time for a minor renovation inside the hut to make proper room for it.  Just as well...I am ready for a little change after almost 7 years.  Someday I will get back to the container project.  88,92,59,0,C
