Daily Thoughts
If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.

--Lewis Carroll

Remember that if the opportunities for great deeds should never come, the opportunities for good deeds are renewed day by day. The thing for us to long for is the goodness, not the glory.

Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.

Was a good show and Tell at the Field Lab today just before noon time. Allen and wife showed along with a couple of other folks. Looked like they got a good cookie see at Bentia for sure.

Shucks! Missed it again. I did hear tale of one woman getting ticked out past the mailboxes bu a state trooper and saw the sheriff's department towing what looked like a mobile command center past here about 30 minutes ago. I think the policing has begun. I was going to go out and check the mail and eat at the Grub Shack, but after that I decided to wait until next week. Anyone know when all of the heat leaves the area?

Thanks for having us on, John. It was an honor.

I dropped my computer out the back of the Bronco earlier today, so I just stopped in here at the Big Bend Motor Inn, to open it up & see if it works. All is well, thank goodness.

See you again soon.

As for the daily thoughts, I have alway said, all roads go to the same place.

Couldn't get a wifi signal at the windershield fix'n place, so I missed the noon show. Sure would'a like to see Allen hug'n Benita.

Got brand spank'n new windshields and back in Deming right at dark time. Details of the horror story on my blog.

John, Ok Hwa and I spent last evening, and this morning with the Conejo Cowboys in their cowboy camp over here behind the store at the chili cook-off. What a great bunch of folks. Anyway, I brought the loaf of bread you baked for us to share with them, and they loved it!
We'd sure like to come back for a visit tomorrow, if that's O.K. Will check in with you in the morning.

I was sitting on the bench by the trailer this afternoon and noticed a burgundy and silver Bronco pull up by the shower room here at the RV park/Motel. The couple that got out of it sure resembled the picture on here so I took the chance and walked up and asked if he was Allen. Turned out that the answer was yes so... Nice folks and maybe I'll see them again before they head back to Dallas. Small world and John your blog seems to bring people together.
