Plugged away at the new swamp cooler on today's shift.... had one of those really blistering dead calm days out here. (good incentive to get it done) Made the cut outs and mounted the fans. Don't be fooled by the fact that I am using an Igloo Cooler for the housing - no ice will be involved - it's just an insulated / water proof housing for the gizmo. Another hot one in store so I hope to wire it up for a test run tomorrow. It got pretty stuffy inside without it today. 84,107,46,0,C

Looks like Benita was helping. But, does she have her eyes closed?
Having built a copy of the last Pepino, I have no doubt that this "new & improved" version will work great.
Here's another design I recently came across that made me think of you; looks like it might use a bit more water though.

that swamp cooler is looking good!
Wonder what the high was for today. I got 110 at 11:00 AM
I find it encouraging that it still gets down to 47 degrees at night. That is a 61 degree drop from the day's high temp.
The cooler looks great.
