pyro sunday...

The project I hinted at yesterday was the flamethrower.  All the parts came together as per the instructions. First test went flawlessly.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FkfGegBKNA

Special thanks to William Gurstelle - the author of Backyard Ballistics and Absinthe and Flamethrowers....I couldn't have done it without you.  48,61,40,0,B

pretty neat little flame. Should you ever run across the burner from a hot air balloon, THAT will make you a REAL flame! :-)

Nice work JW...here's one my son built. The town has been using it for the past 5 years for the Haunted Forest. It's the last thing people see as they come out of the Haunted Forest show. This video was the first test of it. My son lit it while his buddy video'd and was lots of verbal encouragement :D

That's a great project and can be used for heat or lighting. Do you have any use plans on your mind?

There seems to be a common love of "flame as fun" among your followers! I still like the idea you mentioned a while back of installing flame throwers in the towers at the head of your driveway. That would be cool!

someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over
there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.”
