The Archivist's Dilemma...

The first day...good time to shuffle the computer.  What to save and what to not.  Ended up archiving 4,407 (13.6 GB) photos from 2011 plus another 5 GB of misc. files to one of my expansion drives.  Nice to be able to shelve a years worth of stuff into the palm of my hand.   If only I could just cut and paste when it comes to moving stuff around in the real world.  47,58,45,0,W

I don't archive much anymore. Other than putting lots of things on the web where as I understand it they will always be.

Well, I did move copies of lots of files over to my notebook a year ago, but wonder if there is really any point in all this, when we stop computering or die most of this crap on our personal computers won't mean much to anyone else.

I think I'd be more productive if I was working on other projects than messing with computers, I could at least be doing more harm to the environment that way.

Sigh, decisions.

Oh hell, I think being productive has something to do with screwing, never mind, carry on.

Benita seems unaffected by your productivity! Flashy drive.

You have such a great photographer's eye! Excellent reflection shot of Benita and Airstream.

Yes, archiving...I certainly need to move some stuff into external storage. Thanks for the reminder and inspiration.
