paved

Thanks to Chuck...I finished the paving job today without having to pick up more pavers in Alpine.  Chuck checked the blog last night and called to offer some he had in a large kennel be built for his dogs (they were all over me as I extracted them).  Picked them up late this morning - finished some cuts and set my camera up again to finish tonight's presentation (I started the time lapse of the installation yesterday).  Swept the sand so feverishly - I broke the handle on my 8 year old push broom.  Feels good to finally be done after setting a total of 744 pavers.

Looks great. I wish I was coming out before August. I really want to see the progress with the pavers. You're doing great work out there JW.

Looked like you was clowning around a bit. :-)

Is that really a greenhouse? It just doesn't strike me as being a greenhouse.

Unless you plan on growing wacky weed in it. :-)

Come to think of it, better profit in that than growing tomatoes.

BBC...I don't smoke pot and I'm too old to go to jail. I think I will stick to growing food since this project is about nourishment - not profit.

Heck BBC, he doesn't even smoke that cigarette he walks around with in his mouth....or at least it doesn't get any shorter.

Looking good, John.

Kind of like the world's largest pizza oven. Just kidding John, but I would love to hear how you plan to grow your plants. They have to be containers right? Hanging against the shipping containers? Was it not practical to plant directly into that hard earth? Is it all rock there? Casters?

Did you feel the earthquake out your way??

It's damn hard to get a good push broom that lasts these days John. Eight years, that's terrible, you should ask for your money back. I guess you still have the receipt...

Can we get a full view of the finished paving project please sir?

I don't smoke pot either but I'd consider growing and selling it if they make it legal.

Well, I'm an ex businessman so that is how I think, of a way to make an easy profit so I can buy my nourishment.

My best business was a parts house, sat on my butt a lot bullshitting with customers and selling parts. Great way to make money for a good steak dinner at the bar.

I live in one of the few places in the country where the town legalized the consumption of pot. It's been great for the town coffers. The US needs to allow it too for the tax dollars. I don't smoke it either, but this is or is supposed to be a free country right?

Well, what a sense of accomplishment getting that part done. Best of luck with the next phase.
