xx Can't remember if you ever tried a frozen dinner in the oven. Hope you are surviving the heat; it has been unbearable up here in Ft. Worth.
The meal I cooked last night was a frozen pizza. Looks like the hottest part of the summer is over now. Hasn't been in the 100's since the fourth of July.
After the children start school in August, it soon starts toward the cooling side (maybe 96, 94, 92, etc.). :-)
What a great solar oven! Free energy!
I have an old Global Sun Oven, but it works for two. Having problems getting it up to 250. It keeps us from heating up our tiny cottage. Our garden is coming in, so we have had scalloped potatoes, okra creole medey and even a meatloaf. Mine doesn't get hot enough for a good pizza.
Thanks Jon, Pretty Hot... That'l bake your buns! I get about 260 outa my homemade solar oven. Great for ribs, meatloaf, chicken or turkey pieces, veggies, beans, about anything using a crock pot recipe. I got plans to build a global sun oven knockoff with a chopped down igloo ice chest.
Nice job JW!!!
Ocotillo,
Frozen or not, that's a good lookin' pizza!
