Looks like we are definitely in the rainy season now. Time lapse of an arroyo flashing shot over a 2 hour time period. The storm dumped .7" of rain in about an hour. Gosh you have no idea how much I needed to see this just now! I sold the family home and the past 10 days even though I cleared it out 2 years ago so much stuff still there, luckily Bob hired help, I hired a 14 year old Wonder Woman. Gotta another 48 hours to clear the rest.
Thank you!

Hope you got your share for the dry months later!

Interesting how rainfall does not sink into that hardpan you live on, but runs downhill. Would a hood keep the raindrops off your lens?

WhyR: I have contemplated that very thought. It's a little tricky keeping the rain off the front of the waterproof housing on the GoPro. First of all it is a fairly wide lens so a hood can't be too close. Second of all, the rain tends to blow in from all directions during a storm. So I guess the answer is...probably not. As long as it doesn't obscure the image too much I don't mind because the story is about rain after all. And I like the way the water drops eventually evaporate.

nice bit of water - should help top the tanks - that's a gnarly, tenacious, hydrated piece of brush clinging to the edge of the bank…
…even odder with you in DFW… but Neistat seems nonplussed
again Hitchcock-ian with the inverted cameo — liked the musical selection, but there is
something about the sound of flowing water in the desert.
