Matthew 7:
11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

That's what I do not like, being called evil, especially when a human preacher gets up in the pulpit and wags his finger calling us evil in the name of God. Of course that is not the point here. I like uplifting, encouraging things. Heaven knows we poor mortals often have a hard enough time as it is. :-) (Anyway let he who is without sin cast the first stone).
I saw a documentary on West Virginia last night on drugs in Oceana (nicknamed Oxyana). It is everywhere. I did my DNA and found a 64 yr. old 2nd cousin named Wilson-Irish across the Ohio River from W.VA in Ohio. I think this Wilson must be a cousin to Norma Jean Wilson White in W.VA who was my age and died in 2009. They all did-do drugs in the W.VA White family and it made me so sad because her 17 year younger Jesco White husband died 4 years ago and I am pretty sure it was Aids (from U Tube video) so his wife must have had it too from her terminal illness. So sad (like my good brother who died). That is what not doing right can do for us. It is in my DNA that I cannot do drugs but my family left that area.
(I do not do any chemicals-alcohol, pills, street drugs and go to AA since l976).
Again, Margery, ...all of your life experiences, have you thought of recording an oral history. History is merely the recounting of lives lived. You have so much to share. Or start your own blog. I would be one of your first followers. Also, I have seen the Whites of West Virginia documentary and found it heartbreaking.
TY Lin.
Margery, I actually watched a documentary about Jesco several years ago. It was rather interesting. Strangely enough, I tried googling, and I can't find anything about Jesco dying. Even stranger, further googling reports that his death was all a hoax back in 2013! It isn't reported in any reputable news sources at all. Life turns out to be stranger than fiction once again.
Some people choose a very strange path in life, but I've found that some of the unlikeliest folks still have faith.
