s p r a y

Sprayed the other two ground bound trusses and the south overhang of mounted truss 3 today. Still more spots to touch up and the mounted ones to finish, but I'm out of paint. Benita in and out for snacks today then headed west at 6PM instead of NE as usual. Hmmmm - wonder what that means?

Maybe Benita goes to join the herd and the herd moved?

Perhaps Benita went to look for her burro friend.

Don't forget the temperatures for today. Thanks.

Just learned about your field lab while watching an episode of Texas Country Reporter. Pretty good for a gal in Oregon. I think this self sustaining idea would be a good idea her along the coast. Plenty of wind for turbines and most days have at least a few hours of sun for solar. What prompted you to make this move? Where would you suggest folks start if they wanted to try this too? Looking forward to following your blog.

The trusses sure look good painted. They'll look great when you get them all mounted up top. Great idea to paint them white.

The trusses look good, do they get tied together down the center or mayge at 10 & 2 or are fixed to where they don't need additional supports?

JW, if you're ever of a mind to wander up north of Alpine, you might drop in on Cathy Hoyt. She has a little greenhouse project going up there, it could be interesting.

Hehe, it just occurred to me that Cathy might have been one of the visitors who came by to check up on Kevin.

Off topic, but I stumbled upon a live camera and weather report near you John.. Maybe the internet visitors can use it to get an idea at least of the conditions near you.

Lookin good.

BTW does anyone down that way know if any cheap rentals down there to be had for a couple of months? I had to fast track my move and need a place close there to be able to work on a dwelling during the day and have a place to rack out at night.

If you know of such a place you can email me at tffnguy@gmail.com

Sorry for the post about this.
