I always turn my boots upside down and shake em...
You must have just about all the rainwater you can store by now. All I can think is that it's gonna be a beautiful spring in the desert next year. Ben and Bud will have tons of yummy yucca blooms.
Rain spider?
Most likely a Huntsman spider..not poisonous but like all spiders, have a painful bite.
TY Thornwalker - wondered what that spider was. The ones around my place have thinner legs but round, brown bodies-like grand daddy long legs or something like that.
What a healthy-looking Huntsman spider! Beautiful. A nice beastie to have around for managing cockroaches and other things that eat your steers' food. But nolo me tangere.
