2 Peter 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; 14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. 15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

beliefs and facts...

Satan is the master of deception.  Don't be fooled into thinking that "religion" is just an errant belief system because it isn't based on scientific fact.  The problems of the world stem from Satan's influence causing people to delight too much in earthly pleasures and hardening the hearts of those who come up with any number of reasons to deny God so they may continue to pursue only the things that make them feel good with the foolish belief that there will never be consequences for their actions.  Once you accept Christ, The Holy Spirit guides you "to be in the world but not of the world".  Once we are saved and belong to God, the Spirit takes up residence in our hearts forever, sealing us with the confirming and assuring pledge of our eternal state as His children.  The Spirit's presence within us enables us to understand and interpret God's Word - revealing in our minds the whole counsel of God as it relates to worship, doctrine, and Christian living.  He is the ultimate guide, leading the way, removing obstructions, opening the understanding, and making all things plain and clear.  He leads in the way we should go in all spiritual things.  Without such a guide, we are all apt to fall into error and become slaves to earthly pleasures and Satan never lets up on anyone - especially those who have accepted Christ.  

One can experience the presence of The Holy Spirit just as one can experience earthly pleasure... and that is a fact.

The Holy Spirit

It never ceases to amaze me how I continually evolve with the help of The Holy Spirit...The Holy Spirit is God’s power in action, his active force.  God sends out his spirit by projecting his energy to any place to accomplish his will.  Micah 3:8 Luke 1:35  Psalms 139:7  Psalms 104:30

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Unconscious Collective

As Carl Jung puts it:  "in addition to our immediate consciousness, which is of a thoroughly personal nature and which we believe to be the only empirical psyche (soul), there exists a second psychic system of a collective, universal, and impersonal nature which is identical in all individuals. This collective unconscious does not develop individually but is inherited. It consists of pre-existent forms, the archetypes , which can only become conscious secondarily and which give definite form to certain psychic contents."

As I see it, our collective unconscious is made up of either The Holy Spirit or Satan.  We have a generation growing up that has absolutely no exposure to religion of any kind.  All they know of this world is materialism and instant gratification.  That seed planted by the teachings of Christ in all humans has gone dormant in them because it needs to be nurtured by a pre-generation in order to grow... a fertile breeding ground for Satan to do his work.  They are a group I call the Unconscious Collective.

Psalms 51 : 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned , and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest , and be clear when thou judgest . 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean : wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice . 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 83,102,71,0,B,0
