last courtyard forms...
Decided there was one last step before I begin to shuffle all that fresh dirt around. Set blocks and formed up for the pour along the NE container. 55,71,33,0,C

Sunday form...
Made a run out to check up on the waterboxx experiment that my friend Bill set up north of me...the drought is taking its' toll - only 4 out of 32 plants are still alive. Put in a couple of hours prepping the forms for the west end threshold pour. A couple of rainless clouds rolled in just in time for a decent sunset. 92,99,71,0,B

Begin the Beguine
Low 41 - High 96.
Switched gears today and did less visitin' and more doin'. Did splurge on a breakfast sandwich this morrning from the Grub Shack though. Got 2 loads of sand and built and set the forms for the front entry to the greenhouse. Allowing for an 8' entry just in case I need to get the truck in there. The other 3 entries will only be 3' - 4'. Kind of tricky setting them up to be squared and leveled with each other but I am way within being close enough.
Just realized today that I am entering prime solar oven cooking season for my evening meals. As soon as these partly cloudy/windy days end...I need to program myself to start prepping dinner at 4PM to pop in the oven and let the setting sun do the rest. Here is today's afternoon view of the Field Lab Living Quarters when not cleaned up for visitors.

Post from the Past
Missed the first fly by of the International Space Station but caught the second pass. My time lapse test didn't work well enough to present. Exposure was just a little to bright. DANG! Perhaps next time...
Got my welding cart from UPS today and cut some of my re bar in preparation for the tower construction. I'm "ready to go" to start full on tomorrow. Other than that....nothing of any consequence today other than some prep and lots of good intentions.
With that....I leave you with what I really got done last year on this day. - from my journal: "Installed and painted the interior door frame and same with my last interior window frame." (I still have some of that yellow paint on my sweatshirt.) Finished this day one year ago by building the form that I used to pour concrete for the 3 buttress bases of my front porch.
