42nd Street - Odessa

Yeah.....so I have to drive 3 1/2 hours to get to these places. But thank God I live 3 1/2 hours away from the desolate wasteland that is urban sprawl and strip malls. It was worth the trip though to remind me of how good I have it here. Highlight of the trip was meeting my new friends at Mueller Steel and placing the order that will complete the greenhouse roof. 50,68,39,0

A steel roof on a greenhouse?

Be patient and watch as the grand plan unfolds before your eyes.

Odessa Bad? When was the last time you were in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston or Austin?

Excellent! The greenhouse roof is in the works. Just because it's a metal roofing supply house, does not mean that they don't carry other types of roofing material. Eagerly anticipating the unfolding of the grand plan!
Ok Hwa is looking over my shoulder as I write, asking queations, questions, questions... She is fascinated with your whole operation.
As usual, good luck with the next phaze. We'll be watching.

I am 15 minutes from a Walmart and still worry about making my trips count. You put a whole new spin on that term. Gas price in Central Missouri is $2.43 a gallon. This is all very interesting when you take it all in.

Interesting----gas in Clovis, NM, 2.59-2.69.

Steel is good, it is a solar battery. It might even get too hot in there!
I am planning on using steel tanks filled with water in my system.

Ugh, I haven't been to the city in quite a while. I don't miss it one bit. But it's nice to know it's there when I need something that I can't get locally.

I worked at Mueller in the Ballinger office. Great company, great people, super quality product. People stay there forever because they treat their employees so well. I moved or I would probably still be working there. I had no idea they had a store in Odessa. I might have to make a trip to the city soon.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Probably try to get out that way some time after the 1st John. I won't let the cat out of the bag about how you told me you plan to do the roof, but will be nice to see it done. If I can lend a hand let me know and I'll help as much as I can. Anything to get me away from this RV has to be a good thing. ;)

BTW the last time I was at the porch at the ghost town some guy walked up and asked me if I was John Wells. Don't know what brought that on unless he had seen the falcon on my blog and some how got it mixed up with you???
