Your photos from today are very nice. That nearby high spot is very handy. The shot of the mineral encrusted rock is amazing. Keep 'em coming!

I think that 4th one must be Porcupinacus cacticus. :) looks down right painful!

I really like the overlook views of the desert, gives me a perspective I had not known but only imagined! Having the truck in there helps with the perspective again, we are only a speck in the universe.

I got around to lookin at those two photos at the top and compared them with the sat view of my place and if Im correct, It looks like you shot those from the top of the hill on my place? If so, Thats one nice view I got! can you confirm?
