Happy Birthday Aunt Kathy!

Placed my forth PaloVerde seedling in its' waterboxx this morning.  Waited for this one to show definite signs of second life.  Mr. Floppy came in today with a girlfriend.  All day visit with my new friend Cindy who is out looking for a piece of paradise to perhaps settle on.  Did my weekly check on the waterboxx experiment and cut out some minor seedlings so the strong could survive.  Had to do a photo of my new favorite possessions - groovy bowls from my friend JD.  Laid out the packages of seeds she sent me for my birthday to inspire swift progress on the greenhouse.  90,99,52,0,B

With the high heat and lack of almost any humidity you have down there at this time of year, you better have a green arm, not just a green thumb to get them to grow and produce anything other than a few leaves. You can water some of those seeds twice a day and they still will not be happy.

Nice pics. The package of chard seeds "bright lights" is rainbow chard. Remember- any knucklehead can grow a radish.

If Mr & Mrs Floppy have a baby you can name it Bloppy.
I REALLY like your groovy bowls, too. And that looks like a nice assortment of seeds to start your greenhouse with.

I've been following the PaloVerde seed experiment closely since I have zero knowledge of those trees. So I did a bit if googling and wondered if you have ever tried to make PaloVerde seed flour like the Pima and Papago Indians did? If so, how was it?
