No distractions today - tricked myself into finishing hole #2.   Worked the 2 shade shifts.  93,108,72,0,W

That is the best method I have seen for punching through caliche (short of a back hoe or jack hammer). Well done!

Well! John...Good job on both holes...At least you can't fall into either hole...Did you finish at ..30 inches?

How far down does that caliche layer go? Is it everywhere in Terlingua? Can't be easy for a backhoe to break thru ether

The first jerky I ever had was made from road kill ,mesquite smoked longhorn steer.Longhorn hide's make the best shoe sole leather.One tough steer those longhorns.
