signs of spring...

Another foggy morning out here - didn't burn off till 12:30.  Headed south for errands and got some good views of the fog rolling away.

Had two good signs of spring today.  Spotted bluebonnets blooming at their favorite spot along HYW118 on the way home from Study Butte.  My old friend Caroline (the longhorn) stopped by for a snack today.  Haven't seen her for 3 months.

Clear, calm and warm all afternoon - perfect weather for finishing up the siding on the west side of the greenhouse.  54,69,38,0,C

Put all of our potted plants outside, hopefully for the last time this winter....

Wow, from that angle them Bluebonnets look about five or six foots tall. Forsure thems Texas Bluebonnets.

@Bob, forced perspective shot, those are maybe a foot tall. Can't wait till I go along US-290 in a couple of weeks between Houston and Austin. Especially around the Brenham area. They've got a bit more rain this year than last and it should be a very good bloom this year. Should see a good bloom starting mid-March out here in the Hill Country.

Yes, very nice photos today.
It's good to see you're finishing the ends of the greenhouse. You should have it almost all closed in by now. Is it noticeably warmer in there now?
