Crazy Aunt Jean

Now that I'm acclimated to big city life, traffic, and being around lots of people - it's almost time to turn around and head back to my desert life. I must say I'm a bit sad to go but sure I will be glad when I get home. Just finished packing the truck as I'm leaving early tomorrow morning and that has helped get me in the mood for the long trip. Spent the day visiting and driving - added another 130 miles to the odometer. Sure am glad the price of gas has gone down to around $2.35 here - can't imagine what will happen to a town like this that is so spread out if gas jumps over 5 bucks a gallon. I reckon folks will gripe and Exxon Mobil will report another record profit when that happens. Wonder how high gas would have to go to shut down this country. Decided it would be a good idea to get a picture of me and my Crazy Aunt Jean (it's a term of endearment that she reciprocates with by calling me Crazy Nephew John)....she's only 4'10 1/2" and is always the smallest one in photos so I gave her a stool to stand on.
