My zippy builder friend Ben is back in town to work on his place so I headed over for a visit just before sunset. In only a day and a half he installed a wood stove, 4 windows, a kitchen counter, a sleeping loft and is just about ready for the stairway to heaven. For anyone living in the Fredricksburg area - this is the guy to hire. 46,73,31, .04"

Zippy Ben's place looks wonderful. Even without bowties.
Thanks for the good Grub Shack. The bow ties a wonderful, lot of hard work especially by your self.
Zippy Ben's place is looking good too.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
John, your neighbors house is really cool. Down here in the Texas Gulf Coast (Corpus Christi) there are lots of stilt houses built near the salt water in case of a tidal surge due to hurricanes. Flooding is not a concern with a stilt house, however the house blowing apart in hurricane force winds is.
The bowties really make your place a class act. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I like the covered, shaded storage and parking area under Zippy's house.
Neil - "blue" moon was awesome
Great pics. Lookin goood! Happy New Year, John! Love, peace and hair grease.
Happy New Year!
Looking forward to seeing the completion of your Greenhouse.
Your friend's house looks great.
Congratulations on the Tiny House Top Ten placement. I really enjoyed that link. I spent about an hour in there, looking at all the different small houses. Ok Hwa was fascinated, also. I still think a small earth home would be ideal, and will probably try to build one on the land that I hope to buy out there.
Good fortune, and happiness to you in the new year!
