canned organic pancakes?

Just heard about this product today from my IT guy in the UK... wish I had thought of that...

clever idea, yes, but for a guy that uses a Bike-O-Worsher to do his wash, how hard is to mix up a batch of panckes? That's what going green is all about right?

Ha! I've seen this can a few times before, but every time I have read it as BUTTER blaster. Batter blaster makes a whole lot more sense. I guess it's the yellow can. I thought it was squirtable butter. LOL

Great idea and great marketing. The truly innovative ignore recessions. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow, and will pick up a can, just for novelty's sake.

Allen, come back to us about how the Batter Blaster pancakes taste and how many pancakes you get from a can. Thanks.

Ha! I've never heard of this canned pancake stuff. What a clever (and now rich) man to come up with this idea.

Not to pee on everybody's Cheerios here, but doesn't this kind of product go against the mission statement of the Field Lab itself? Un-sustainable food sources such as this only add to the growing piles of waste in our ever-growing disposable society. How will the next generation understand where food really comes from if everything we eat comes from a can?

Batter Blaster (sounds like a Baseball term) may not survive when analyzed through a sustainability matrix, but if the inventor can push blueberries and strawberries through that little nozzle, I'm in.

Perhaps if we ran everything through a sustainability matrix, including humans, we'd all be done for.

Yeah, it's some nut that lives in Austin invented that stuff.

I have some in the fridge. Thanks to the propellant it comes out of the can all fluffy and light, but you have to have your griddle or waffle iron hot enough to cook it right away or it'll fall like a souffle.

On the whole I can't say it's that much better than just getting a box of pancake mix and mixing it up in a bowl, for a small fraction of the cost of the canned version.

Tried it, didn't like it. The idea of organic material in a spray can is a little odd, I think.
Anyway, not for me.

Me and my wife have bought this a few times. It's organic and easy! The taste is...so-so. It has a strange grainy taste almost but with the right syrup it's not bad. They're also hard to cook dry, they stay a little too moist. Overall 6 out of 10

I'm not big on canned, pre-formed stuff but these are actually good. I buy them when my granddaughter comes to visit. Makes "Micky Mouse" pancakes a lot more recognizable.
