Over $2 for gas!? That's thievery. I thought everywhere in Texas it was under $2. We're $1.79 at local Valero's here in Houston. Murphy is cheaper than that.
$1.72 at SAMs club and Costco in San Antonio. $1.90 or$2.00 out where I live. Approximately.
I spent $1.77 in San Marcos today at SAMs Club.
The higher rates are Shell and Exxon.
But Costco has the same quality as Shell and Exxon.
Transportation costs make the price difference. The closer to a pipeline the better.
Gas went up about $0.11/gal today in my area.
Price of gas? Had to go back to John's blog post to see how price of gas related to his post. Still didn't find a relationship.
just curious.
did anyone catch the fact that John and his friend who has no legs below the knee drove to Alpine, hence the wheel chair and feed prominently featured in the picture?
kinda weird everybody's interested in gas prices.
Just wondering...did you happen to install those mechanical accelerating and braking features in your truck? I do not know the correct terminology for them but they are used by handicap drivers.
That would be a good thing to research MsBelinda.
you may only have one good leg between you, but you have two good attitudes!!!Keep on keeping on!!
Just looked up the Grocery delivery. Amazon is slowly taking over America.
It has gotten to the point where I can get just about all my food online cheaper than the grocery store - not even taking into consideration the 130 mile round trip to Alpine.
I've ordered a lot of organic food from Amazon over the years and it is delivered to my door with no shipping charge. We moved to Oklahoma last year only to discover they charge an 8.5% tax on groceries! They don't tax cigarettes, so go figure. The nearest small town is 40 miles away as well and the groceries are high and unhealthy. Glad to see John has this available and he has such a nice UPS guy.
