Death by Frost...

My 22 month old mother plants survived 22 degree lows last winter
but 18 degree lows killed them along with 3 rooted cuttings last week.
I managed to save one rooted cutting by keeping it inside
my hut on those cold nights.

I am sorry about your plants. We had an early freeze that wiped out my garden at its peak. I had wrapped them the night before but it didn't help.
