buh bye Ural...
Plant lady Maria brough out her colleague Dr. Jim to check on the Cat's Eye plants today...still blooming. Sold the Ural to my new friend Chris - he will give it the home it deserves. 59,72,29,0,W

GrubShack Breakfast!
It has been a year - and better than I remembered it!
Chuck brought out my Ural this morning after a good overhaul. Gonna do a final wash down since I got a buyer coming to check it out next weekend. Decided to part with it since I think my money is better put toward guns, ammo, and heirloom seeds.
Dropped off two loaves of TFL bread to Paul and Voni this afternoon. Headed out to check the long NW cow trail for Benita...still no sign of the old girl but found some of her cohorts.
Got the flat pieces of tin mounted on the north door side. 64,76,43,0,B

sucking air...
Made the rounds to the Waterboxx experiment today...previous sprouts are doing fine - a couple of new ones - and a few that looked like sprouts that didn't make it. Gave them all one last extra drink but from here on out they are on their own. Can the Waterboxx sustain life in the desert?
Ural maintenance on the schedule for today. Discovered that one of the fuel lines was shredding. Took a ride over to Chucks and he just happened to have an extra chunk of hose. Replaced a couple of sections and it purred like a sick kitten but ran like a gem. Alpine trip on the list now for gutter supplies and more hose so I can replace all the lines.
Found that my new tomato plant has its first fruit forming. 78,90,43,0,B

It's Chuck's Fault
The Ural arrived today....took it out for a long test run to get the hang of it. Drives like a dream. It would have never occurred to me to buy a motorcycle with a side car, but Chuck was one of the first people I met out here and he has two of them - so I have him to blame now. Benita and Mr. Floppy were curious but not impressed - they probably don't understand horsepower. If the greenhouse doesn't work out - it will be a helluva garage for the new vehicle. 56,80,42,B

RPOC
Been thinking awhile about a more economical vehicle for my grocery supply runs. Something with character, perhaps. Several friends of mine have Russian Ural motorcycles with side cars. My friend Jim Wright up in Marathon recently decided to sell his and I just couldn't pass it up. Good for rugged off-roading and street legal too. Took a drive north today with two "foilheads"(Chuck and Jessie) to check it out and seal the deal. Don't worry Ara http://theoasisofmysoul.com/ , I wont be getting a pit bull....and no - Benita will not fit in the sidecar. 64,79,35,0,C
