Well I've been in Phoenix for only 3 days and have already driven over 300 miles. Crazy. All I have done is run a few errands and travel across town twice. This town is way too big. Not much to report today other than a sighting of the biggest toad I've ever seen. Nothing in this photo to show it to scale - but this guy was about the size of a softball (albeit a sort of flattened green softball with four legs). My aunt wonders where he came from as she usually doesn't seen them in her back yard. This afternoon I watched him crawl through a crack in the base of a dead tree stump, so I reckon that's where he is living this winter.
